Ceramic Tile (10’ x 8”) A prominent feature on a big house in a town in New England. The view with the landscaping and the houses in the background was particularly compelling.
Ceramic Tile (9” diameter) This tile is in high relief. The lotus flower and the oak trees are set apart from the background. From my imagination solely, lotuses and one of my favorite flowers, and I once lived near some magnificent oak trees.
Ceramic tile (12” diameter) This is a stylized telling of what I saw. My yard is home to many hummingbirds, and although the Hibiscus is outsized, I did see the two in juxtaposition for real.
Ceramic tile (5.75” x 9.5”) This little fellow actually existed - he came into my yard quite unexpectedly through a hole in my fence and made himself at home. Oh, it was in March when I first met him (or her).
Ceramic Tile (11.25” diameter) This is all design and color. Birds and flowers make up a good proportion of my work - some realistic, some purely imaginative.
Ceramic Tile (16.5” diameter) I love birds, especially hummingbirds. The Bird of Paradise flower makes a nice counterpoint. I saw this scene in my mind’s eye.
Ceramic Tile (16.5” diameter) Pure fantasy. A lovely lady enjoying the tropical sunset from her porch in the tropics. I love the scene, especially about the middle of February, when the view out my window is all ice and snow.
Ceramic tile (17” x 7”) Another of the scenes from Cranberry Isle, a small island off of Mt. Desert Island in Maine. This one shows Cadillac Mountain in the background, across the bay. Quite breathtaking.
Ceramic Tile - (10” x 6.25”) I spent a few weeks in Maine on this island off of Mt. Desert Island, near Acadia National Park. This is one of several scenes I put into tile after that sojourn.
These pendants are one-of-a-kind. Each is about 2¼” long and 1/8” thick, glazed on both sides. The beads on each pendant are also unique and one-of-a-kind. They are strung on 2 mm. silken cord about 18” long, which will allow you to easily add your custom touch by using your own beads or another type of stringing. ~Susan Beere, Susan Beere...
