Featuring primarily cool colors in 100% wool fabrics  (with an emphasis on lavendar),  the layers of coins have been hand-stitched and appliqued with heavy duty thread, in case one opts to use this as a rug in a low traffic area.  The binding on the edge and the backing are both made of cotton twill. Sandwiched between front and back is a layer of wool fabric for cushioning. In addition, the back includes a generous sleeve along the top edge to accomodate a sturdy dowel or rod for hanging purposes. (dowel or rod not included)
