Their tunes are performed on banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, and are mostly traditional orginals from Appalachian Mountains, from Eastern Kentucky, the Virginias, the Ozarks, and North Carolina. Performances feature the rhythmic banjo and fiddle (dance tunes), unusual fiddle tunes played in archaic tunings, and ballads. The band is based in Bradford, NH. They often are joined by Tii McLane from Vermont, who sings beautiful harmonies with Beth, clogs, and plays fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Performance venues include Barn Dances, Bandstands, Coffeehouses, Conferences, Festivals, Farmers Markets, and Pubs. The Bradford Bog People released their first CD in 2007, entitled "Live in the Bog” and their second CD “Boglands,” in 2008. Their new CD "Fully Peated" will be released early this year.
